Information Systems Management
Program Requirements and Prerequisites
To be fully admitted to the M.S. in Information Systems Management degree program, you must meet all admission requirements and fulfill a set of prerequisite courses. These prerequisite courses can be satisfied by demonstrating a 'C' grade or better in an equivalent undergraduate course or by successfully completing the approved course(s) at RMU. In many cases, prerequisite courses may be completed concurrently with graduate-level coursework.

Six additional credits in business (or equivalent)
Principles of Information and Computing
Operating Systems Concepts
Any approved programming language
Students may choose to complete a waiver exam when available to fulfill program prerequisites if approved to do so by the department head or associate dean. The University does not provide any study materials to assist students in preparing for waiver exams. Students who select this option are expected to have a solid understanding of the principles covered on the exam. Students who do not possess knowledge in the required subject area should complete the approved course equivalent.

Application Procedures
Applicants should submit the following credentials to the Graduate Admissions Office:
1. A completed application and a non-refundable $35 application fee.

2. Official undergraduate transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
3. Two current letters of recommendation from professionals
familiar with your academic and/or work experience.
4. A current résumé.
5. A brief essay outlining reasons for desiring admission to the program.
All application materials must be received before an admission decision
can be made.
