Ph.D. in Instructional Management
and Leadership

Admission Requirements 

To be considered for the Ph.D. in Instructional Management and Leadership degree program at Robert Morris University, applicants must meet the following requirements:

 

1. Master's degree from an accredited institution

2. Minimum graduate GPA of 3.25

3. Computer competence and possession of, or access to,
    a computer, the Internet and a printer

4. A commitment to participate in the entire program of study
    with the cohort

5. Participation in interviews and writing samples with the
    doctoral faculty

Application Procedures

Applicants should submit the following credentials to the Graduate Enrollment Office:

1. The completed application and a non-refundable $50 application fee.
    Or apply online for free. (International students also are required to
    complete a statement of financial support. Please refer to citizenship
    status on the application form for other required admissions
    materials.)

2. Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate course work from
    an accredited college or university, a recognized international program
    or the equivalent.

3. Three letters of recommendation from professionals familiar with your
    academic and/or work experience.

4. Current résumé or vitae.

5. An essay on your career aspirations and reasons why you are applying
    to the Ph.D. in Instructional Management and Leadership
    program. This essay is separate from the goal statement
    on the application and should be a maximum of five pages.

 

In addition to the above required application materials, applicants must
participate in a pre-screening interview with the doctoral program director
and a personal interview with the doctoral admissions committee.
